I also bought the valances to match.These are called sheers but I think they should be called semi-sheers...which from the ad pictures and other reviews, is what I expected. They are very pretty. The grey embroidery is beautiful and well done as is all the hem stitching. My only disappointment is the color of the linen. I would have preferred more of a white with the grey embroidery. If my woodwork was white I would have sent them back. However, with my natural woodwork and the off white, existing blinds they look good together. I have had several nice compliments on them. I am happy with my purchase and would recommend them.
