When the rug came it was in a Box which kind of set me off because I'm like oh no it's gonna be super thin. So I opened the Box and it was shrink wrapped with all the air taken out of the package I cut it open and I shook it out and it grew really nicely. It's not super thick it is kind of thin like a bath mat and it does kind of slide around a little bit on the tile. But it's got a little paddng it's super soft and I believe I can put this in the washer if it gets messed up. I have animals so for me to be able to wash a rug it's gonna be super sufficient. You could add a pad underneath for more padding but I won't because of spills and such. A little piece of double sided tape on the corners works nicely for any slidingI definitely expected to get what I paid for and instead I got a VERY high quality rug. I initially bought this as a temporary addition to my toddlers room, with the intention of buying a higher quality one later. Needless to say, I no longer plan on replacing it and instead am thinking about buying more of these. This is definitely one of those rare finds where the product is cheap but just as good if not better than expensive products.It’s soft and fluffy and I had no problems with it bunching or laying weird after I unrolled it the first time. It’s held up against everything my toddler has tried to grind into it and it’s nonslip.When you first open the rug it takes about a day for the creases to come out because it is vacuum wrapped. After that it is awesome! The bottom has a non slip material, it feels like foam when you walk on it (not thin and flimsy) and it is SO SOFT!! I vacuumed it on the “long carpet” setting and it did find! Softest rug ever. Perfect for our nursery.The rug was very soft and a really good size for the price but quality is not what I was expecting. It has the no slip grip on the back but I was expecting more for the price.Arrived well packaged in a vacuum sealed bag which I love because it was entirely protected while shipping. Once opened it fluffed up immediately and is super soft and fluffy without any work. It is perfect for my bedroom floor over the hardwood. It has non slip dots on the entire back so it stays in place well.Highly recommendedThis rug is good for a kids room but it is a little bit difficult to clean. I did put it in the washer because it says washer safe but then it didn’t lay flat on the floor anymore and it kind of clumped up I tried putting it in the dryer and I tried air drying it and I got the same resultI purchased this rug a few months ago, and I love it. My kids love it, and my dogs love laying on it. But as those of us with kids and pets know, “shtuff gets dirty”. The #1 question that keeps coming up is “how easy is it to clean?”. The answer is : surprisingly easy. The first time I had to clean the rug, I did it in a bathtub full of cold water and dawn dish soap. Worked really well, but extremely impractical. It took forever to rinse and drip dry took a few days. I won’t even go into the pain in the butt it was trying to wring out the water. A few days later, I had to clean it again because well, kids. Did the tub of water again, but this time, I put it in my High Efficiency washing machine that does NOT HAVE THE CENTER AGITATION ARM, but instead has a round plate with ridges on the bottom. In the spin and drain mode, only the barrel turns, allowing the rug to be drained with no damage. From there, it was hung to dry. Fast forward another week or so, and the pets have debased the carpet as pets only can do. Plus, there is something sticky that I have no idea what it is. As a parent, I get tired of cleaning the same thing over and over again. So, I decided to risk it and see if my HE machine will pull another miracle. I set it to the HAND WASH setting (stops the center plate from agitation, just turns the barrel and the water). I set it to TAP COLD or COLD for water temp, and fed the soap and crossed my fingers. When it was done, It came out looking like a wet ball of fur. I was nervous naturally. I put it in my dryer on AIR FLUFF MODE for temp and crossed my fingers. Since it was air dry, it took a little longer, but it is worth the time. The end result was amazing. The carpet came out looking like it was still brand new and smelled amazing. There was zero damage to the carpet and it lost no fur at all. The lint trap was practically empty. To sum it all up on how to wash your rug1. It must be a High Efficiency (HE) machine without a center arm like you would find in an old school washing machine2. Set temp to TAP COLD or COLD if that’s all you have.3. Set the HE machine to HAND WASH setting. This will stop/reduce the action of the center agitation plate and instead allow the barrel to spin and move the clothes around without causing damage to delicate materials.4. If your dryer is big enough for it to fit, set the temp to AIR FLUFF. You can also hang dry it, as it won’t take near as long since the washing machine got rid of the excess water.As a disclaimer, follow the direction from your manufacturer as not to void warranty’s. If you are a busy parent like me and don’t give much of crap about that and just want it clean without having to go Mid Evil on it hand wash style, use your HE machine like I explained above, and it will be one less thing to worry about. You can get it clean quickly enough for your kids and pets to mess it up again in no timeThis rug is perfect if you’re looking for something soft and easy to vacuum!! It’s definitely not as thick as I thought it would be, but clearly the dogs approve of its softness and it’s much easier to clean than other rugs! I also love how many color and size options there are! I 100% recommend.Got it for my enfant as he was beginning to crawl n often bumped his head on the floor.Though it's colourful n looks nice in the kids room but is not cushy/ thick enough to protect the kid if he falls; plus it skids on the marble / tile flooring too... - won't ever recommend it to new moms looking for a rug for kid's activity unless it's only for ornamentation of the room.pour le plancher de mon chevy G10, jamais vu un tapis aussi doux, le nettoyage est plus difficileI paid $148 for this rug and all it is is an oversized bath mat! I bought this for my new baby’s nursery after shopping around for months for a rug, what a waste of money. It’s such cheap quality.
