Your plants' leaves and stems get stronger thanks to silicon, which works as a protective armour covering. It helps to guard against a variety of diseases and pests as well as environmental stressors like drought or extremely high temperatures.
Silicon can be used with any growing medium and in any system type. The Plant Magic feeding regimen advises using silicon for the duration of the vegetative phase, through the flowering stage, and for around two weeks prior to harvest. It is advised to use 1-2ml per litre while growing in soil or coco, as opposed to 0.5-1ml per litre when growing in water.
Correctly adding Silicon will ensure that you receive all its advantages in your nutrient solution.
- Before adding any other goods, add Silicon first and thoroughly mix it.
- Proceed as usual and add the remaining nutrients and additives.
- Change your pH to the desired value. Don't worry if you need to apply more pH than usual because silicon will elevate the pH of your nutrient solution!
