If your dehumidifier has a panel that controls when to turn on/off (like the Quest), this is the one you need.  If you have a simpler humidifier (you put water in, and turn a dial/knob), then you'll need the . The HS-1 from Trolmaster is designed to control commercial dehumidifiers by utilising low-volt control options so the dehumidifier can be controlled by an external humidistat. The HS-1 is also wired exactly like an external humidistat. The HS-1 is a great way of controlling dehumidifiers whilst removing the need to control the high-amp current that is frequently associated with dehumidifiers.
