The TrolMaster EFC-1 is specially designed to be used with Tent-X Control System to control the variable fan speed of the EC Fan. The EFC-1 needs to select the mode of output to control the EC Fan in PWM or 0-10V.

Each Tent-X can connect a corresponding EFC-1 for Exhaust (F1) and Intake (F2). Each Exhaust (F1)/ Intake (F2) line requires one EFC-1.

In the Tent-X’s fan settings, there are two designated positions assigned for each fan. F1 settings are for the exhaust fan, and F2 settings are for the intake fan, each with its own specific settings and functions.

By being able to control two fans in your grow tent, you can precisely control and maintain negative pressure in the tent.

Please note that the intake and exhaust fan EACH requires an EFC-1 adaptor to be connected to the Tent-X, and the TENT-X can control either 0 to 10-volt or PWM-type EC fans.

To connect two EFC-1 adaptors to the controller, use a or the to daisy-chain two EFC-1 adaptors into the DEVICE port for each fan. When pairing the EFC-1 adaptors with the Tent-X, each adaptor will automatically choose its role as either an F1 or an F2 fan. Make sure you connect the right type of fan to each EFC-1 adaptor’s RJ12 port (Exhaust fan in F1, Intake fan in F2).
